Grading Resources - Kinsa Judo

The British Judo Association (BJA) grading system for the Kinsa Judo kids will follow the Sho Grading System (5 – 7 year olds) and the Mon Grading System (8-17 year olds).

At Kinsa we hold a grading every term. It is not mandatory to attend a grading every term but if your child is competing they will need to meet the grading frequency as stipulated in the competition outlines for each event. It is only possible to move up one Mon at a time. However, with our terms comprising of 10 classes, your child will need to have a good level of attendance in order to attend a grading.
